Lemon fruit

I have a 15 yr.old Meyer lemon tree. It produces pretty good but the fruit has some scale on them and many have rough brown skin. Is there a product I can spray on the tree to eliminate the scale and the brown skin.

I live in San Diego Ca.

Hi Don, I would use an insecticidal spray like pure Neem OIl which is organic and will not hurt you or the plant. It does not wash off and builds up over time. It will also keep other critters away from your trees as it is also a fungicide and miticide...kathy
