Question
I have a hmm, philadanderem (mispelled badly) and I just noticed there is a bright yellow something growing in the pot with the plant and I have never ever seen this before. What does this plant have? Will it kill the plant? how do I get rid of it? Thank you for helping me with this puzzling yellow monster that is growing along side my plant!

There are a myriad of fungi that can grow in soils that are rich in organic matter and do not cause plant problems- maybe a bit unsightly, so I suspect that this may be the case- just physically remove it and discard. Some of these thing are very beautiful and delicate!
