Snowball

Question

hydrangea
thiry-nine years ago when I moved to GA NW a neighbor gave me a snowball plant rooted from hers.  It gets sun but is shaded by an apple tree nearby.  I am ashamed to say that I have neglected this plant and just this year we cut all the dead branches off and trimmed it this spring.  It has a lot of blooms on it and is very pretty.  The flowers are on a long stem.  My gardenias (13 years old) and my hydrangea has this same blight.  I put Bayers rose and flower insect and fertilizer on them according to instructions.  Gardenias look great the blight is gone.  The hydrangea looks good, but my snowball improved and now it's getting the blight again.  Here is the picture of the snowball leaves.  I titled my picture hydrangea but it is a snowball the flower petals are smaller and so are the leaves.

Answer
Hi Carmela, looks like you have aphids sucking the life out of your leaves.  You can use Pure Neem Oil spray or a new product called Atomic Grow, both are organic and will help cure the problem.  The Atomic Grow will help keep the insects away as it will put your plant back to great health.  kathy
