Trachycarpus fortunei yellow leaves

hi
I have one of these that stansd around 10' tall and has been beautifull to look at over the years but this mth i have noticed the tips of all the leaves are starting to turn yellowbut new leaves are still starting to grow.
can you help please

Answer
Yellow leaf tips may indicate a nutritional imbalance or other possible root related stress. Suggest having a soil test done to ID any potential issues. This can usually be done through an agricultural office or you can also contact your local family garden center for some information. A rather sudden drop in temperature at a previous time may cause this as well.  Examine the main stem for any obvious damage/injury at the same time. I don't think this is a disease/insect issue, but rather an environmental/nutritional problem.
