Question
Three years Sago grew a ball in center, never leafed out, and has multiple orange ball like pods filling center of growth, no leaves in 3 years.  What is it? Sago is maybe 14 years old in same location.

If the plant is in a pot, it may have outgrown its surroundings. Check the amt. of soil in the pot. If the leaves are good color, I do not suspect a disease. You may consider visiting with your local plant nursery/garden center with your issue- since diseases are my speciality.
