Question
After hosta is eaten by deer will it continue to grow?
We live out in the country and do not have pets.

Hi Chris,

I'm not sure. Most plants recover via root energy if the tops are lost. I have no hosta experience. Keep them watered and maybe some "mirical grow" soluable fertilizer. That isn't exactly what the name means... but it can't hurt.

If you need a way to prevent that, I make a great deer deterrent.
