coyotes/bobcats

Question
We are building in an area with lots of coyotes and some bobcats (possibly a mountain lion as well) and were wondering if you have any way to deter them from entering our property as we have small children and dogs.  Thanks

Answer
Yes. Take a look at my website...

I don't know where you are, but often what are thought mountain lions, turn out to be bobcat. They can be very noisy. A cougar might thin out the coyote and bobcat, so they aren't all bad if you have one around. One thing to consider is safety in numbers. Any predator is much less likely to attack two or more animals or children togather... or a mix. Avoid lone wandering.
