Hi again, my wife told me all about vinegar but that is for driveways. My problem is far larger than that! The entire backyard is overrun with weeds or grass growing right through the crap that the contractor put down! The front yard is rapidly becomming the same. I think that I will have to go to some crooked lawn asshole to find out what kind of crustacean I can use that eats away at the very roots of plants or do what the locals told me to do which is illegally use diesel fuel. It is actually cheaper and more effective. I would really like to know about those little critters first. At least they are organic.

Richard,you seem to be too angry a person. Can you please  ask a question without using off color language?
The terms you use are very offensive.
The vinegar would work, you just have to load it into a sprayer, and spray the whole yard.
Salt will work too.
Sprinkle ice cream salt all over the yard, and water it well. That will kill everything.
Please don't write again, if you are going to use expletives. Some of us just find it too offensive.
