Kukuya and Grande lawns

Question
Hi there

I have planted a combination of kukuya and grande grass for my lawn.  My garden has alot of shade and when the kukuya wasn't growing we overseeded with the grande seed.  At the moment our problems are:-
The kukuya is a light lime green colour and lighter than the grande and it looks odd - the kukuya is also quite thin and not dense in places. Secondly, the grande is patchy and dies off (goes brown) in spots.  I also have a spot of soil that is clay where the grande is not doing well.
What do you suggest with both grasses?

Thanks
Beatrice

Answer
Good Morning Beatrice:
Unfortunately I have little knowledge about warm season grasses. Kukuya and Grande are both in that catagory.
You did not tell me your location so I cannot give you information as to the address of your local Cooperative Extension. These are the people you should talk to in your area.
I am very sorry I cannot give you more information
