Horticultural cornmeal

Question
I have been looking to purchase horticultural cornmeal but neither the garden centers or the nurseries or the feed stores in my area carry it. The other option is the Internet but the shipping comes as much as the product.
Any idea where I can find it in or near zip 60002.

Answer
Hi Kamal;
I can't search by zip codes. I have to have the names of towns.
A good substitute is baking soda.
Disolve 4 heaping teaspoons baking soda per gallon of water, and use a garden sprayer to apply it.
That takes longer to do a whole lawn, but you can do it a section a day until you get it done, and that beatas paying the shipping on the hort. corn meal.
I used baking soda all the time until this year.
It worked as well for me in past years as the horticultural corn meal did this year.
Walmart here has started carrying organic lawn products. Check there for it.
