mowing

Question
I have conferred with you before about my new lawn which is only a month old and 5 inches or more tall.Question is should I cut once before winter season?

Answer
Definitely.  Cut it to normal length (about 3 inches) and make sure you enter the Winter at that length.  Letting it grow long is never advisable for new grass.  The regular cutting will encourage it to spread and thicken up.

Good luck!
