Question
You anwswered a question about the orange dust on grass, back in 2007.  You said it wasn't an emergency, but I have small children.  Should I keep them off the grass, if this returns next summer?

Hi Nella,

No, this stuff shouldn't cause problems as far as I know.  If the children are down on the ground licking it, you could potentially run into issues with them getting sick, but that applies with pretty much anything outside. These are spores of a microscopic fungus and they happen to be an orangey color.

Let the kids run free!
