QUESTION: Sir, recently i moved to new house. However the builder did not give good back yard. There slop away from the door upto 10 ft. and also there is slope from fence to middle i.e. if i stand near the door it appears as v-shaped slope and at the point couple of places there black drainage pipes popping upward. I need to make pation either of concrete or pavers ? Please suggest me how to take care of drainage.

patios should be placed on relatively flat ground,so the slope you are describing does not sound like a good place for a patio.   its hard to tell alot from the description you are giving.

Hello,

Judging from the photo,this site looks relatively flat.  You could use pavers or concrete. give the patio a minimum slope of one quarter inch per foot. In other words,the patio should drop down one quarter inch for every foot of length.

In order for me to assist you with drainage I need to know what problems you are having with drainage on this site.   You need to find out what the black pipes are.
