Question
I have a brick patio. When it rains water stands on the patio and also grass grows up through it.  I would like to remove the bricks and put some type of drainage in and then put the bricks back.

I feel that there could just be a simple level problem here. The water is probably not runiing off the pato area but, instead, it is remaining and stagnating. This abundance of moisture layig in puddles will also allowfor weeed growth.

The best thing that you can do is to talk to a builder and he will be able to point you in the right direction.
