porcelain tile patio

Question
I making a large chess board on a concrete patio. I've tried painting on the squares and that didn't last. Can I use porcelain or ceramic tiles on concrete and if so how can I secure them to the concrete so they don't move around? Thank you very much for your answer.

Answer
You can set tile onto concrete using either outdoor rated epoxy or thin-set mortar, if you find glazed tile that meet your needs, in terms of size %26 color.

I would caution you regarding a transition from the concrete surface to the tile/playing surface - don't want got create a tripping hazard.
