Question
I Just finished the installation of the Flotec Pump Model FP5172, Thank model FP7120 and 3 wire pressure switch. My problem is that the pump does not start automatically. Please if possible help with diagram or in any other way.

I've looked for a good electrical diagram for you and couldn't fine one.
The pressure switch react to the dropping pressure of the system. When it hit a set pressure the contacts close and run the motor. The pressure can be adjusted by turn the screw on the switch. Clockwise raises the pressure, counterclockwise lowers.
It's difficult to diagnose without seeing the system. If you want you can e-mail a picture and I could go from there. I'll need a picture of the overall pump and tank. Also a few of the pressure switch close-up with the cover open. e-mail [email protected]
I wish I could be more helpful, but there are so many possibilities it's hard to guess.
