WaterAce 1hp sprinkler pump

Question
I have a Water Ace 1hp R10 sprinkler pump.  I'm am trying to wire it in and purchased a 3 wire pre-wired outdoor conduit the screws into the bottom of the power box.  the other end has the angle bracket to screw into the motor  I removed the wiring access panel on the back of the motor and noticed there is nut enough room to place the conduit nut inside to tighten it down.  So I started to remove the bolts on the case that turned out to be extremely long running the entire length of the motor.  I was unable to remove one of them as it just spins.  I've tried to replace the 3 I removed but they not just spin as if there may possible be a nut inside that is no longer in place!  Any ideas on what I should try next.

Thanks,
Mark

Answer
Mark,

The bolts you removed actually hold the motor together. They screw into the back of the case. Problem is getting them to align to the screw holes. It will require a lot of patience but it can be done. I wish I had a trick to help you, but there isn't one I know of. As I recall, you maybe able to slide the casing back a little so you can see the screw hole. Be cautious, you don't want to completely disassemble the motor.
