Hardee inline valve

Question
Have a hardie 1'' inline valve that wont shut off. Change diaphragm still wont shut off and leaks below the solenoid .

Answer
Hey Ron I hope this helps. Not knowing exactly which Hardie valve you have, it is hard to tell you exactly what to do. Some Hardie valves actually have a small o-ring that goes around a stem that is in the upper half of the valve body, it would be directly below the solenoid. If this o-ring is missing, the valve would leak between the two halfs, and the valve will not shut off. Some valves only have the diaphram to seal the two halves, if this is the case, you might need to make sure you have the diaphram on correctly, and also try tightening it ( the screws) down tighter. The solenoid also has an o-ring in the top where it screws on to the body. Make sure this is installed correctly, and the solenoid is tight. Good luck and let me know if I can be of anymore help, thanks and have a great day.
