Question
I am on a 3 acre lot and our groundwater is only 3 feet down. I am wanting a average front and back yard with grass. I would like a sprinkler system but I don't have the funds to get a holding tank and another pump for the sprinklers. What would be the best thing for me to do?? Do alot of people who are on wells just water with the hose??

Hey Richard, yes you can water with the hose. There are a number of different sprinklers at the hardware store that attach to the end of the hose that work good. I would suggest some kind of impact sprinkler head, it will give you the biggest coverage area. You will probably need to let the sprinkler run in one area for awhile, and then move it from time to time to cover the whole area. Good luck and have a great day.
