AnswerIt's a white Double Confederate Rose or Cotton Rosemallow, a Hibiscus mutabilis. It grows as a shrub in mild areas and a perennial in somewhat cooler areas, but is not hardy here in NJ. In many plants the white flowers fade to pink or red as they age.
