i have a couple purple beans that have just sprouted, do you know how to get the seeds from them?

Dear Karen,
I don't know everything about all the different kinds of beans, but as a rule, bean seeds are contained in the pods that develop on the plant.  Some types of beans, we eat the pods and others, we shell the beans out of the dried pod.  The beans shelled from the dried pods, are the seeds.
