Tomato plant disease

Question
I am getting black spots on my leaves.  What causes it and what do I need to cure it?

Answer
Richard, black spots on the leaves are usually an indication of a fungus disease.

I have found that copper is the best fungicide for tomatoes. I personally use a product called Soap Shield. The fatty acids in the solution result in excellent long-term protection. Unlike many other copper fungicides, there is no need to mix sulfur.

Attached is a website from which the product can be purchased. It also includes a testimony from a gardener who had similar problems with tomatoes.

Good luck, and please write again if I can ever be of assistance.

Regards,

Mike
