Planting garden

Question
hello I would like to know what vegetable I can grow right now. I live in Fresno Ca and the weather is in the mid 60's right now. I tried planting Squash, Tomatoes, Peas, Onions, and peppers but only the peas have came up and i planted almost 3 weeks ago. Any advice you have for a beginner would be much appreciated. Thank you

Answer
Joshua:

Your soil temperature is more important than your air temps, and nighttime temperatures make a difference as well. Peas and onions should do well now - onions sometimes take up to three weeks to come up, so don't despair just yet. The soil is probably too cold for the squash and tomatoes, but you could start them in peat pots indoors. Or wait another month. You need a soil temperature of about 70. You can warm up your soil by putting some black plastic over it (make sure the soil is damp) for a couple of weeks.
