tomatoes and rodents

Question
I have successfully gotten 5 tomatoes on my plant. They are nice and green and growing. The other morning I went out and had only 3 and 1/2 tomatoes. One was half eaten and the other was totally gone. Not even a piece on the ground or bend in the stalk. I don't know if I should get chicken wire or what. Could it be a rat or an Iguana? We live in Florida. Its my first time growing any vegetables. I also have green and red pepper plants. There is only one red pepper on the plant and it hasn't touched it so far.

Answer
The fence would be a great option. If you would like to try another quicker solution try hanging up some deodorant soap around the garden. If the animals are large this may keep them away. If they are the small rodents you may have to put up a barrier.
