hi i have a large bonsia a taiwan fictus it has lost nearly all of its leaves, i have re potted it with fresh compost for bonsias, the leaves went crinkly then started to fall off

Unfortunately you did not provide enough information for me to help you. It's typical for a ficus to lose it's leaves. How long have you had the tree, where is the tree (indoors / outdoors), etc...

Where did you purchase the tree. Can't the person that sold you the tree help answer your questions?
