Geranium himalayense

Cranesbill (Geranium himalayense) jer-AY-nee-um him-ah-lay-EN-see Synonyms:  G. grandiflorum Genus:  Geranium This plant bears rich medium blue to violet-blue flowers from 1.5 to 2.5 inches wide in early summer, and blooms sporadically throughout the summer.  Noteworthy Characteristics:  Makes a great groundcover; can take full shade. Care:  Provide full sun to part shade and moist but well-drained soil. Propagation:  Sow seed in a cold frame when fresh; divide in spring or fall.
