Alocasia 'Portodora' 'Portodora' elephant's ear (Alocasia 'Portodora') al-oh-KAY-sia porto-dora Genus:  Alocasia ‘Portodora’ produces big, ribbed, upward-pointing leaves that look like lettuce-edged fans. This plant adds instant drama. Care:  ‘Portodora’ prefers full sun and rich, moist soil. It fares well by water features and in containers with plants of similar needs. Gardeners in cool hardiness zones may overwinter plant’s tubers indoors covered by peat moss during winter, after the leaves have been desiccated by frost.
