Cedar Arbors

Cedar arbors add touches of beauty and charm for lawn and garden. Besides gracing a front yard entrance or a backyard bower, these Western red cedar arbors offer height to break up a low-lying yard area. Perfect for training climbing roses or bougainvillea, these curved structures bring an added dimension to any landscape that needs softening with their arches.

All sizes and styles of arbors and cedar lawn furniture are made of clear and knotty red cedar, which lends a rustic look to the pieces. The wood is mostly taken from managed forests, which have programs that protect old growth trees and that encourage re-forestation. All arbors are sanded and ready to finish; if left without any finish, the wood will weather to a subtle silver-grey.

Different Styles of Cedar Arbors

Arbors come in several styles, depending on what appeals to you and what goes with your garden. Standard arbors are made in sizes of three or four feet, which is the approximate distance from side-to-side. The larger arbor has dimensions of 92.5 inches high, 54.5 inches wide, and 24 inches deep, with an inside width of 47 inches.

Pagoda cedar arbors are also made of this luscious wood, which is resistant to rot and insects. Continuing the Japanese motif, a Shonji arbor would add an exotic, Oriental flavor to your yard. Both these Asian-style arbors can be used with the red cedar love seats, which nestle between the arches to create an inviting setting.
