Do they require full sun or partial? I am in zone 7

Answer
Knock Out roses do best where they can get about 6 hours of full sun and then they will tolerate the rest of the day in some shade. They will grow in all day partial shade, but they won't flower well and and bush will not be a strong one. The problem with growing roses in shade is that they don't become strong as the sun does that and when winter comes they can get a lot of dieback on the canes.
