over wintering buogainvillea indoors

Question
i grew my buogainvillea outside during the summer and it did guite well and i want to bring it inside for the winter.  how do i prepare and keep it growing indoors?

Answer
The most important things are light and water. Lots of light, (prefer a greenhouse) and little water. Also a cool dormancy temperature of between 40 degrees and 60 degrees. If you are able to set up a grow light, it would help. Turn it on for 4 hours each day. If the leaves drop off, it could mean it isn't getting enough light. Water just enough to keep the roots from drying out completely. If you need to repot it, do it in December or January while it is dormant. If you need to prune it, also do it at this time. Shorten branches by one third. If air is dry, add humitity by placing water around the plant to evaporate into the air.
