there are two lime trees approx 10 metres in height and 8 meters from building wall

one maple tree approx 9 meters in heightis 7 metres away from building wall

How much damage would it cause in a clay soil? is it responsile for cracks in the walls of the house?

Hi Ila, They are all too far away to cause any problems.  Any cracks in the walls are more likely from settling.  Settling can occur from grading done on new construction or from soil becoming excessively dry under the foundation or soil being washed away from erosion, so you might investigate a little further if the cracks are serious.  Jim
