Dying Spike Plant

Question
Hello,

I bought a Dracaena Spike plant last summer and it grew very fast, so i brought it inside in fall for the fall and winter....It was doing great and kept getting bigger and bigger then about a month ago it started dying. The spikes turned brown and die. It had about 50 spike leaves and now i am down to about 5. What went wrong? Can i still save it? I watered it and kept it near light all winter...then it just went to hell.
HELP ME

Answer
Hi Kristie,
Thanx for your question.  If you have watered it and kept it in light then maybe it needed some houseplant fertilzer.  Go to Walmart or KMart and pick up a bottle of liquid houseplant fertilizer.  Follow the directions on the package.  It sounds like some kind of mineral or nutrient deficiency.  I hope this helps.
Tom
