hi Tom,
pl help on zabera propagation with seeds. I tried doing it by spreading the dry flower leaving the petals on damp cotton, but in vain.

Thanx for your question.  I'm sorry.  I am not familiar with zarbera.  I did a Google search and came up empty-handed.

I don't know what zarbera is.  Did you mean Gerbera?  The daisy-like plant?

Hi Neethu,
I believe the plant about which you are inquiring is the Gerbera. The seeds are in the center of the flower.  They are straw colored and like tiny wedges.  If you scrape the dried flower's center the seeds should start falling out like tiny bits of chaff.  Press the seeds into some moist potting soil and lightly cover.  They germinate relatively fast (within a week or 10 days) at 75 degrees F.  Wait until the seedlings have their first set of true leaves before you gently prick them out of the soil and transplant them into separate pots.  These plants are perennial in warmer zones (zone 8 and above).  I hope this helps.
