QUESTION: last year i brought back some cones off a tree from corfu, in the spring the cones opened and out cam a lot off seeds, i planted them in 1 pint plastic cups and put holes in the bottom i now have about 50 small shoots growing some have upto 10 spikey leaves growing height of about 1" what do i do know. i plan to donate them to my golf club but when can i replant them

Before I answer your question, where are you located and did you just grow the seeds to see what would happen?  I'm kind of curious about that.  Take care.

i only bought back 3 round cones while still attached to a bit of the branch/leaf

Hi Ken,
Thanx for the follow up and the additional information.  So, you're in Britain? I had a wonderful vacation for two weeks in the U.K. back in 1992.  I would love to come back again.  Make sure your seedlings are kept watered and I would gradually acclimatize them to the outdoors.  Use a balanced fertilizer at half strength on them.  I would plant the seedlings out in another couple of weeks.  I hope this helps.
