Answer
Hi Sherry,
Thanx for your question.  I am really not an expert with citrus but I found some answers for you.  We also have a citrus fruit expert here at Allexperts.  His name is Nick McCann and you may want to consult him with future questions regarding your citrus trees.  Also, the Texas A&M Cooperative Extension Service is an excellent resource for you and it's free.  I'm not sure where you are in East Texas but here is a link to TAMU.

You can find your local county office and call or walk in.  I used to do volunteer work for the Kansas State University Cooperative Extension Service (our A&M/land grant univesity, excellent agricultural, horticultural and home economics resource!)

Blossom and fruit drop could be the tree is ridding itself of excess fruit or it could be the result of improper fertilizing. Be sure to fertilize three times a year with a quality citrus fertilizer. Do not fertilize while the tree is flowering as the nitrogen can cause the blossoms to fall off. If you are late with your January fertilization wait until the fruit has formed and set before you fertilize. Improper watering during the dry spring months when the tree is flowering and setting fruit is another cause of blossom drop. Be sure to provide irrigation at regular intervals during the dry months. And strong winds will cause blossoms and small fruit to drop.

I don't believe I'm qualified to answer your question about Bonide Blossom Set spray.  I know of its use on tomatoes and I don't like artificial means for causing plants to produce.  But that's just my opinion.  I would feel more comfortable knowing that you consulted with Texas A&M via the link I gave you above or with our local expert Nick McCann.  I hope this helps.
Tom
