snoball bushes

Question
I have two large snoball bushes I would like to move. When is the best time to do this and are they likely to survive.  They are both rather large.

Answer
Melinda,
Right now is a perfect time of year to move your snowball bushes.  I would trim that back to make them easier to handle and then get as much of the root ball as you can.  Two people can do this job better than just one.  Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, slightly deeper.  Plant the root ball, cover with soil, give it a good soaking and mulch with straw or bark.  You shouldn't have any problems.  I hope this helps.
Tom
