Growing poppies from seed and a flowering vine

Question
that stopped flowering.
Hi..

I am going to try my hand at poopies next year, and was wondering if there is anything special to planting them.. I am in NJ.

Also I have this gorgeous black eyed susan vine that is really healthy and full, and for some reason it has stopped blooming, i dont know why, or what to do to get it to bloom again.. it has been very hot here, and Im wondering if that could effect it.

Answer
hi, sorry i took so long answering this, ive been very busy, poppies seem to grow and establish better from seed, its very hard to transplant a poppy and have it come back the next year.once you get them going they seem to spread fairly easy.
as for your black eyed susan vine, sometimes when they dry out too much it stops the flowering as well as lack of sun.  perhaps give it a little trim and give it mericle grow every 2 weeks to see if you can get it going again. they are pretty arent they.  imagine how those poor roots feel in a pot (if it is in a pot) when its a hundred degrees outside?  id say the poor babies practically cook.maybee try a new location also.      good luck,,,sandy
