Forget me nots (blooming)

Question
I am trying to see if there is a way to get forget me nots for my wedding in late august. There is a site that is selling seedlings now. From what I hear, they usually bloom in the spring and if you sow seeds in the summer they will bloom the next year. Do you think these seedlings would bloom this year and if so if they would bloom around late august? The seedlings are from NJ and I live in Chicago.

Thanks so much,
Hsing

Answer
If you got them to bloom, it would be a fluke and not something that you could count on.

It is not clear to me whether you want them for out-of-doors or for arrangements.  In the latter case, ask a florist if they are imported from another country or a climate-controlled growing facility at that time of the year.
