Money Tree Frostbite

Question
I'm not sure if a money tree counts as a tropical plant...but I had to transport my money tree and it was outside for approximately 1 minute...in weather that was probably -25c. Now it's all brownish and wilty...I'm pretty sure it's dying. Is there any hope for it? Can it be cured somehow?

Answer
Hi Mandi, thats a sure sign of cold shock, prune back the dead growth and it should be ok, the rootball is the important thing, as long as it didn't freeze (and one minute wouldn't do that). You should see new growth in a couple of weeks, but don't water it too much, just between dry outs. regards Nick
