Question
I water my pygmy palm 3-4 times a week, but i noticed the trunk and leaves are getting an orangish tint to them.  Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Hi Dave, thats too much irrigation, and you are tempting fate by laying too much water on those roots; palms are suseptible to root rot which can kill a palm quicker then anything. Once a week is plenty, make sure you have a mulch covering around them but keep it back 2 feet from the flare, which is where the the trunk meets the soil. Nick
