Question
I would like to know why the leaves on my plant keep getting brown spots and then eventually die off. I am getting alot of new sprouts growing and I would like to keep it growing so it can produce the flowers.

Hi Susan, you didn't mention how you were caring for your Boug,but the majority of problems this time of year is over watering, this combined with the cooler nights is a recipe for disaster; Bougs do not like a lot of water even during the hot summer, but this time of the year they need very little, and if water is present on the leaves going into the cooler nights it is a recipe for fungal growth , hence the brown spots on the leaves. Back off any watering and it should develop new growth and eventually colorful bracts. Nick
