Question
I have a tree as above and have noticed that in the past 6 days the leaves have stated to curl up ( like a closed hand) and they appear dry although the colour is still there. Can you advise me what may be wrong or am \I doing something wrong. The soil in our garden is of a clay consistency if that helps

If the problem has been quick in developing I would suspect an insect problem.  Look under the leaf in the curled part for any insect activity, eggs, etc.

If you find anything take the sample to a local expert for ID and to fix the problem.

It could be water related if the ends of the leafs are starting to be dry and crispy.  If you have not had much rain I would irrigate with 1 gallon of water for each inch of tree diameter 3/week for a month.
