Hello,
I recently had eight 10ft leylands put in and a nice plum tree. How often should I water these fine trees?

I would water newly planted trees about every third day with 1 inch of water--place a pan under the tree and turn the sprinkler on and when the pan has 1 inch of water in it stop. Do this if it does not rain. After a month water every week if it does not rain.
