fruitless weeping mulberry

Question
we have fruitless weeping mulberry tree app 10 feet from our above ground pool.  This is the 2nd summer for it.
It is about 6ffet tall.
Are the roots for this tree going to affect our pool?
The pool is also 2 or 3yrs old.
If so what should we do?
Also we would like to plant one of these in front I read the roots can affect the driveway.  How far away from the driveway should it be planted.
If this is the case will the roots affect our above ground pool.
Could we dig it out from by the pool and put it in front far away enough from the driveway?
Thank you so much,
Donna

Answer
The roots should not be a problem with the above ground pool. The root system will grow about 1 1/2 times the spread of the foliage and the majority will be within the first 24 inches of the top of the ground level.
They have a general spread when mature of about 20-25 feet. The roots will not be a major problem with the driveway but the limbs hanging over could be a problem. I would plant the tree not more than 10 close to the driveway and then if needed you could prune branches back that over hang the drive. If you plant it 15 feet you would not have any problems.
