regrowth with seeds

Question
I have seeds from both a Rose of Sharon Bush and also a few from some Roses that we cut back for the winter. Is it possible to get new plants from the seeds and please explain how to proceed if possible

Answer
Lori,

I would recommend starting the seeds in pots this winter. Use a high organic topsoil or compost in the pots. Make sure thaey are in a sunny window and keep them well watered. Once the seeds are established, I would recommend moving them outside in the spring to continue their growth. Do not use fertilizers while the plants are in pots, use only organic root stimulants to maximize root growth.

Good luck.
