Question
The leaves turn yellow then black many have black spots , also th tips of the stems turn black.  I tried a fungicide last week and a few days later more leaves turned black.  What should I do now.  I live in the South.

The problem with diseases such as the leaf spot that is effecting the holly, is that once you see the spots- it is too late, the disease has alraedy done all the damage and is dormant.

Fertilize the plant to encourage new growth this spring and plan to spray the plant with fungicide early next spring before the disease has a chance to do damage.
