Butterfly Bush disease

Question
I planted a butterfly bush in May.  It was growing great and starting to bloom.  The last couple of weeks, the leaves have begun getting brown spots and are wilting.  It seems to have stunted it's growth.  I have been treating it with both an insecticide and fungicide.  I took a sample to a local store and they thought it looked like drought, but it gets the same amount of water as the other butterfly bush I planted which looks fine.  Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
Gail,
It is possible that the butterfly bush has mites. Flip over the leaves and look at the undersides- if you see tiny specks crawling around, then you have mites. Treat the plant with a miticide to control.
If there are no mites, then this plant may be showing signs of transplant shock. Maintain the watering and put down some granular fertilizer to help strengthen.
Good luck.
