My David Viburnum has a white fungus on top of the leaves. I have read that this may be caused by excessive water however we are having one of the most dry years ever. What can I do to get rid of this fungus?

The fungus that you are seeing is probably podwery mildew. This disease does not do alot of damage to the leaves. I would recommend using a fungicide to wash the fungus off the leaves and try to keep the leaves as dry as possible by redirecting any sprinklers so that they do not hit the leaves.
