Fertilizing for newly planted landscape of Shrubs & Sago Palms & Perennials

Question
I just completed planting the front of home with plants.  I am seeking correct answer to this question:  Do I Fertilize  or put Root Stimulator on this newly planted area?  We used garden soil from Nursery and covered with pine bark mulch (dark one with some compost).

Some say Yes Some say no...I don't want to "burn plants".  Your feedback is appreciated...

the Indian Hawthorne had yellow leaves on bottom 1st week but seem to be getting better.
PS - Thanks all of you whohave helped me thru this whole ordeal!  It looks great!!

Answer
Patrice,

I would recommend using a product called Bio Pak Plus by Plant Health Care. This product contains a low nitrogen fertilizer, micronutrients and a beneficial fungus to help root development. You should be able to get it at your local nursery. Apply it out of a hose end sprayer.

Good luck,
Ed Gulliksen
