yellow leaves wilted apperance

Question
Hello I just planted 6 rose bushes that are getting 6 hours of sunlight per day. They all appear wilted and some are getting yellow leaves not spotted yellow.  Am I over or under watering? Just dont know whats wrong with them.  We put in super soil and top soil.  I was very carefull to not ad to much super soil. We are in Phoenix Az.

Answer
Roses really hate to be disturbed and will re-act by wilting leaves. The yellow are rose leaves suffering from stress. The stress could be caused by hot sun as the newly planted roses have roots that are not yet
settled in. You always take a chance when you plant new roses if the sunlight is too warm. Your roses are not going to die but they are going to get even for disturbing the roots. Keep watering daily, don't fertilize as this  can cause problems with newly planted rose roots. Because roses love cool roots and do better when they are cool and damp, any type of mulch placed around the base will also help them settle in plus  save you on watering all the time in the summer.
